If you think that with Chi/Qi you manipulate matter i.e. Telekinesis for one then yes. In Mo Pai Nei Kung it is done this way, they harvest enormous amounts of chi within the body and use it to numerous things, healing etc. There are several videos in youtube where certain people do those things and alot of other videos are faked so, few ones seem to be quite truthful. Well I certainly believe they are since I have understanding of the things that are happening. "John Chang" videos are those that are good ones at least and his apprentice late "Jim McMillan"(if I recall his name correctly) has at least one video as well where he demonstrates telekinesis. Though this kind of practice takes years to get any results depending how convictioned one is to the practice of course.Andrew wrote:How about intelligent energy, as Ra (channeling) describes?
Using Chi to manipulate matter looks like its takes an extraordinary amount of effort. It is not what I'm thinking of. I will read the paper on Shen energy again tomorrow.Ilkka wrote:If you think that with Chi/Qi you manipulate matter i.e. Telekinesis for one then yes. Oh and yes Chi/Qi is intelligent energy it is explained in Daniel papers, can't remember which one though. It is also known that "Where mind goes Chi follows" in Taoism it alone means that the energy is intelligent and follows orders.
BTW. Not entirely sure what "intelligent energy" Ra actually means, since I don't believe in such things(channelings) anymore, but I think it is Chi.
Well, every muscle you use takes effort that one is no different there, when accumulating Chi for later use. True that "real" white magic is more subtle than black magic, but it then seems that there are few approaches to achieve these, however I still think that Chi is a key in there since it is everywhere around and about so this might actually be the intelligent energy what you are thinking of. You should know by now that no real magic come in a pill.Andrew wrote:Using Chi to manipulate matter looks like its takes an extraordinary amount of effort.

That is why the Qi Gong people have to put out so much effort to build and contain Qi.Andrew wrote:Using Chi to manipulate matter looks like its takes an extraordinary amount of effort. It is not what I'm thinking of. I will read the paper on Shen energy again tomorrow.
Once you understand that motion is what links the realms together, material and comic or the Mortal realm and the Other realm, you learn that each can effect the other. Change one aspect, and the other adjusts to compensate to keep harmony. That is the essence of magick--nothing to do with "keris brooms" and the like, but to control the flow of cause and effect.Magic, in motion, changes the physical world in accordance with the Will, and it must be intelligent. Think of Disney's Merlin or Harry Potter where the brooms and mops are cleaning the kitchens or the destroyed living room magically puts itself back together.
See... no brooms magically sweeping the flat. BUT, you did use "real magick" to alter the chain of cause-and-effect, and had the smarts to follow the flow (VERY FEW people do that... they always want it to come to them, rather than be where then need to be, for magick to work).I have two more examples that are along suit. But this is extensive enough, and I must get to bed for my flight tomorrow. I hope to hear some thoughts. I'm meant to figure this stuff out. It is a science. It must be.
I remember that Shen was conscious energy and Chi was intelligent energy. I do see what you mean by that though.daniel wrote:Fohat/jing: physical bioenergy (corpus)Ilkka wrote:BTW. Prana/qi: life bioenergy (anima)
Kundalini/shen: intelligent bioenergy (animus)
It is analogous to the RS speed ranges, 1-x, 2-x and 3-x.
Remember that in the ancient texts, "spirit" and "intelligence" are synonymous.
